  I love Southern Hot Chicken. I love Southern Restaurant and I love Chef Rick Lewis, he is an awesome chef and wonderful guy. I have eaten here on more than one occasion and the chicken is always delicious, savoury and good. The macaroni and cheese casserole can be on the room temperature side, but good nonetheless.I had the peach cobbler today and I wanted to kiss the Chef. That peach cobbler was sweetned just right with a butter..peachy..flavor that just melted in my mouth and when that rich creamy whip cream was on the spoon with it, I thought I was in heaven.I always enjoy the house potato chips and they were good as always. The beans and okra side dish, well that is probably as good as good can get it. I enjoyed those beans and okra and the taste was unique and welcomed change for my taste buds, with just the right amount of okra and beans to create a good savoury flavor on the palate.I will say, if something is not right and you have a complaint, let Southern know and they will make it right for you. No one is perfect but I know at Southern they care about their customers and the food they serve.This is Southern chicken and most everything is made from scratch, the bread may be a bit firm, but I tell you, the bread is good and made fresh daily from a local bakery. I am familiar with delicious, fresh..firm bread. The only thing can make it better is extra hot chicken drippings on that bread, and a cold beer to wash the heat down, talk about good eats.

• Two Hour Lunch Guy's

  Fantastic Service:WARNING: Do Not Rub Your Eyes Once You Start Eating …Grease From Chicken Will Burn Them..From the time we walked in until we were asked to leave this place has someone making sure you are happy at lunch.The line grows very fast at lunch time and the crowd moves through fast.After we found the menu we ordered our food and it was delivered to our table.This place is very busy and very loud at lunch time , it’s not a place you would want to go if your looking to enjoy time with friends or trying to hold a conversation .The chicken is served with a slice of bread under it and that is to soak up all the grease ,I ordered the three piece all white which comes with one small breast and two large wings , the chicken is not crispy the skin is oily .If you pay to park and tip your three piece greasy chicken meal will cost you about $20 so make sure you work a bit over time to pay for this over priced meal.

  This place was yummy! The staff was very friendly, patient, and helpful. You have to wait a little bit in line to order, but a seat was ready as soon as we finished!
