The Cree-Mee is your typical hole-in-the-wall joint with good food that’s bad for you! Biggest ice cream cones of anywhere I’ve been served. The marshmallow Pepsi is a MUST. No, seriously, locals drive from neighboring towns 15-20 miles away to grab these.
Great foot longs. An actual chili cheese footlong you can eat with your hands and not a fork. They place the cheese on the bun, then the hotdog, and then add the chili. Delicious!! The tots were perfectly cooked. Service was fast and pleasant.
The foot longs are great! Every time I’m in this area I have to get two. The chilli has just the right amount of kick to it. The way they are assembled you don’t have to use a fork. It’s a must have!
Still Great!!. The Cree Mee is still great if you want a classic foot-long hot dog. I’ve been going there since I was a little kid, and I have recommended it to friends all across Missouri. Those who have tried it agree; it is the stuff of drive-in legends. You Rock, Cree Mee!
The footlong dogs are horrible now.. Years ago they were the best, we looked forward to visiting Eldon every year and would go straight to the Cree-Mee. I couldn’t even finish mine,. I use to order 2 infact I did. We ordered 24 hotdogs to show our kids that were visiting with us from out of state, we told them you have to try these hotdogs. THEY WERE DISCUSTING WE COULDN’T FINISH THEM. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE HOMEMADE CHILI RECIPE, I HAVE THE ORGINAL AND WHAT ABOUT THE HOTDOGS THEY TASTED BLAND OVER COOKED, ARE THEY BEEF. THEY SURE AREN’T WORTH IT ANYMORE. WE USE TO GO TO THE DRIVE-INN WHEN THE CREE-MEE WAS HORRIBLE AND NOW THEY ARE JUST AS BAD. WE SURE WERE DISAPPOINTED, NO MORE EATING THERE FOR US ON OUR VISITS. 24 HOTDOGS IN ONE DAY HORRIBLE. MY GRANDKIDS THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY AND HATED THEM AND SO DID MY SON, HE EATS EVERYTHING. SORRY SAYING IT LIKE IT IS. BRING BACK THE OLD DOGS AND CHILI.
Best footlong chili cheese dog. People come from out of state for these.my new favorite is also the chili cheese tots, almost like a casserole. the chili is the 50’s style no bean, thin kind.
