If there is 6* this place deserves this. Food is tasty, service is very good. Being a lover of mediterranean food, what ever we ate was the best. Surprised to see not much people, definitely deserves more. Hummus, lamb chops, chicken sawarma, falafal everything was proper and good. Will visit again to try few more dishes…
Great Service and Food. Every time I have been to this restaurant they have been very polite, professional, and always exceeding in customer service. Their portions are generous and are sure to fill any appetite. The shawarma or kefta are very nice, also try some of the appetizers such as the falafel, turkish salad (great w/shawarma), and tabbouleh. In any case, I will be coming back to try some of the other entrees.
Go to Kaslik!. Had seen this restaurant in Feast magazine, but held off going….I live in Florissant, but sometimes Florissant restaurants are bland for the masses. Not so at Kaslik! I brought my son there for lunch today and we were both very happy with our food. He had the falafel sandwich and I had the Veggie Plate, which consisted of hummus, Labneh (like a very thick yogurt, but doesn’t quite taste like yogurt), the Turkish Salad (wow!), a little salad with tomatoes, cukes, parsley, and….something else) and 2 falafel. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it came with plenty of pitas. Before we ordered, we were brought a small plate of pickled things – carrots (hot!), olives, radishes, and a couple of different kind of pickles that were unlike any pickles I’ve had (wonderful!). We also had Baba Ganoush. I don’t like eggplant (too slimy), and this didn’t change my mind, but it did have a wonderful smoky flavor to it. It’s a small place (5 or 6 inside tables, and a few outside), but service is quick and we were treated well. Oh, and did I mention it was inexpensive? All in all, it was a good find and we will be back!
Great find in North County. Kaslik is one of theose samll strip mall restaurants your mother warned you about, but for some reason you just have to try it. If you are a fan od middel eastern food and cuisine, you must make this a regular stop. Although very small and poorly decorated, the food stand out and is vibrant and exciting. I have been twice and have always been greated with a big smile and warm hospitality.The side dishesis what I really love, great warm & fresh pita brought to your table and I give a A+ for the Baba Ganosh and Hummus. Served the way you would find it in Israel or Egypt/ Dinner have been very good witha good helping of meat and or chicken on the dish and freah Basamitti rice served along side.
We loved everything about Kaslik. Everything was freshly prepared and delicious. Tiny place but has outside seating. They seemed to have a lot of carry out as well.
Shwarma sandwich, falafel sandwich, and hummus were all very good. Staff made us feel very welcome. I can’t wait to try the patio.
