Was one of our favorite pizza joint for over 20yrs. Sad to say they have headed down hill. Lunch buffet is not kept stocked, pizza cold, hot plate items tasted old and service poor. Gave it a second try after bad experience and it was just more of the same. Steer clear, better places now dats
Nasty!. Perhaps it was our Italian genes, but all three of us found the sauce to be entirely too sweet. (Mom used to put maybe a tablespoon of sugar in a big pot of sauce.) Two of us had spaghetti, one with sausage and the other with meatballs. The sausage and meatballs were pretty good. We were all disturbed to see how watery our friend’s lasagna was. This was both our first and last visit to Pirrone’s!

Best StL Style. We came up from Memphis last weekend to see some friends who live in Florissant. They decided to introduce us to Pirrone’s and I’m glad they did. I may not be a StL style pizza expert but I’ve had my fair share and this was the best yet. We got a veggie and a Jerry’s Special. I loved the special because I love spicy food. I was actually shocked at the heat of the sauce which made me eat more than I should have. We will have to check the St. Peters location out next visit.
Best pizza around!. I eat pizza about once a week. And although I live in St. Charles, I will make the drive to Florissant for Pirrone’s. It’s the best pizza in STL if you ask me, and they NEVER skimp on the toppings. Great salad too!!
