Interesting place. I’ve stopped by here a few times because I was curious and it is definitely an interesting little shop. The coffee is pretty good and they also have pastries and ice cream, and other little snacks. There are local art pieces on the walls for sale, and they are always different every time I stop by; the barristas always have the hipster music of their choice playing, which adds a little bit to the atmosphere of the place. I have seen posters and advertisements for band nights there, though I have never seen one. Whenever I stop by it seems like its haunted by groups of high school or middle school kids, though. Overall it is a nice little place to stop for a drink and a bite going through town.

Java Jive ROCKS!!!!. This is THE only coffee in Hannibal, if you ask me!! Nestled in the Historic Downtown District of Hannibal, you will find this most beautifully restored, quaint, fun, funky, eclectic shop. The coffee is served in Ayers’ pottery mugs, and also available are teas and pastries. The muffins are VERY GOOD!! The service is fast, friendly, and fun…very inviting. If you are just passing through, you MUST stop in, and if you are a local, well, you know how cool it is already! Awesome place!!!
I LOVE Java Jive!. Java Jive is my absolute favorite place to get coffee. They were the first to think of providing coffee in Hannibal. Lots of imitators have come and gone – Java Jive does it best! Plus the crew is fun and friendly. Where else can you find such interesting conversation?
