LOVE IT!!. I stumbled upon this place by accident one day with my mom and now we go all the time. It’s delicious. You can get just about anything you want, with whatever flavors you want. I absolutely love it! The staff are very nice and so are the grillers. Everyone must go to this place! I wish they had more of these around the country, they could make a killing. Maybe I’ll open up my own 🙂
Love it !. I love trying different items and sauces for my stir fry , each time I go . Never had a bad dining experience . The guys on the grill are always friendly and entertaining !
Always a fave place to dine, took some friends who hadn’t been & we really enjoyed!
Abundant Choices. It seems like a mongolian BBQ right up front. As you delve in further you soon discover the ability to make so much more. Clean location and friendly staff. 7/10: Enjoyable (Very Good)
Good Stir Fry. I love me some Stir Fry! This is a great place to get it! You can get one plate or your can get all you can eat! The best time to go is when they are not busy, you can get your plate and get it right to the grill, if they are busy, there is a line for the grill, they do have 6 or 8 people on the grill so it doesn’t take too long but go when they aren’t busy then you don’t have to worry about the wait!
Glad to have Michigan follow us here. We made comments on the origins of BD’s at the original BD’s which is listed under Royal Oak, Mich.I knew what was there one day when stuck for a light just by looking at the building even though we could not yet see the name. The BD’s here are owned by a franchisee in Grand Rapids, not the original creators, but the Overland Park location was obviously modeled on the Dearborn location. My understanding is that the Dearborn location became the standard model. The original managers of the Overland Park location were from Grosse Pointe and Grosse Ile, Michigan, respectively, so I trust them to keep the restaurant authentic to the original idea. The Independence location may have more items than the Overland Park location, and we noticed that at Independence the waitresses has to explicitly hand you the bowl. Perhaps things changed at both locations.
Variety of Flavors Offered. BDs offers a number of help-yourself stir fry choices and just as many flavors/seasonings. Service can be slow when it’s busy but it’s worth the wait.
