Just another run of the mill restaurant that the service is always slow, Despite having a million workers running around. I’ve been here multiple times and had to wait to be even greeted by the server each time. I understand when it’s busy and I sympathize, but it has happened every time I’ve gone, no matter what time or how big a party I’m with. Very annoying. Plus they aren’t the most friendly. Their honey butter croissants are good, but not much else is spectacular here. It’s not bad, but they don’t have a specialty or a type of food they perfected, so everything is just ok.
Nothing revolutionary, but still a great place to eat. Cheddars is a pretty average chain casual restaurant. They really similiar to Chilis’ or Applebees. Some of the menu items have a dash of creativity going on, but otherwise the menu is comparable to its competitors. They have generous portions, a large and diverse menu, and they always seem to provide it all for slightly, if not significantly cheaper then thier competitors. As far as this particular location goes, I’ve ate here 3-4 times now, and the service has always been quick, polite, and professional. I haven’t had any problems worth remembering, and I was always pleased walking out the door.
Our first time coming here to try before it comes up north and the food was good! We had the cheese fries ( small portion was perfect for 2) The croissant with honey butter is to die for! Bourbon glazed salmon with rice steamed broccoli and green beansWas very good! My boyfriend had the chicken tenders and ribs with red beans and rice and he didn’t complain! Service was good. Will be welcoming this place to the northland soon!
Not the best. My family and I have been to this place many times and at first they were great, but the past couple times were horrible. This last time, it took 30 minutes to get our salads and took another hour (from the time we were finished eating our salads) to get our meals. There were only three of us and we didn’t order anything that would take that long. This was a Tuesday night, so there was no wait and they were not busy.
AMAZING every time!. This place is by far our favorite restaurant! We’ve been over 20 times already. The food is always great, the prices are right, and the servings are generous! YES they are always crowded, but we try and go during non peak times. The ribs are fantastic!! I always order a salad just so I get one of those yummy croissant rolls drizzled w/ honey butter 🙂 Delish! The enormous stack of onion rings is less than $4.00! Service has always been great, even when we’ve gone on a busy weekend. I wish we had a Cheddar’s in the Northland! Until then, we make it a regular stop on our way to Costco 😉 We’ve introduced several other families to Cheddar’s and they love it as well!
Worst service I’ve seen in years. Went in at 8pm, hardly anyone was in the restaurant. We were seated immediately but were not even given water for 10 minutes. When we finally ordered, it took a very long time to get our food, and once it got to the table it was obvious that it had been sitting out in the back for quite some time. There were waiters standing near our table just talking to each other, yet no one checked on us for the entire time we were seated. I only got a refill on my water by asking when our food was finally brought out but otherwise would not have had anything to drink. Once we had finished with our meal, it took at least another 15mins if not longer to get our checks and we were one of about 4 groups left in the restaurant. Between the extremely sub-par service and the cold food, I can safely say that they will never again get my business. If you want a nice dinner out, go to one of the many great restaurants nearby, but don’t stop here.
Chain Restaurant – Chain Quality. I can’t figure out why this place is so packed all of the time. We went late one evening and still had a 15 minute wait to be seated. The decor is very nice (especially the aquariums) but the menu is limited and uninspired as is the food. The service was not fast by any means, but our server was attentive and refilled our beverages. I doubt I would go back but if I do go back I will probably just order a burger as I believe this would be as good as anything else on the menu.
