Nostalgia drew me in….. Several months ago, we were on the Square and needed a little something to eat. We decided to give Clinton’s Soda Fountain a try.The menu is limited to ice cream based treats and fountain drinks as you might expect and on that particular day we were the only two customers and there was one lone server. She was not really suited for her job, being very taciturn and it turned out to be such an ordinary experience that I cannot recall what from the menu we ordered.I would recommend trips to Clinton’s for the nostalgia of being in a place that Harry Truman actually visited. And I hope you will find a more friendly and cheerful person behind the counter when you are there.
