Amazing place, fantastic food, not the best prices. Some of their food is very overpriced for what it is, but the quality is something that I always come back for. If you’re looking to die happily of a heart attack get the Mac and cheese burger because it is huge and ridiculous and so good. Their macaroni and cheese in general is excellent, and all of their sandwiches I’ve had also.
It’s a unique little place on the Independence square. If you’re in the mood for some fried, home style cooking then go. The service tends to be a little slow though so not if you are in a hurry.
Only had drinks and dessert but give it a thumbs up for that. I would love to have a nice lunch here. The service and atmosphere were welcoming and inviting and the dessert we had was well above average so I’ll be back.
I have been a huge fan for so many years but the quality continues to decline while the prices increase…makes me sad to know l have to give up my favorite place to eat!
What a find! This quaint place has tons of atmosphere! Awesome hand pattied burgers, one of the best I’ve had in a while 😉 great salad bar and homemade soups (not from a can)! We will definitely be back. Located in the square in Independence, just walk down the stairs and get your grub on, you won’t be disappointed!

Restaurant Raven. Saw this restaurant listed in the Restaurant Guide and viewed their website on line. My husband & I stopped in around 1:30 PM on Friday afternoon and ate their lunch special of the day. A club sandwich with a twist. It had bbq brisket on it. My husband had the bread pudding for desert which he thought was a little dry and I opted for the banana split cheesecake which was heavenly. The service was fantastic and the food was really really good! We will definitely go back!!! Loved the underground atmosphere!
