This chili is not chili in the style of a bowl of red from Texas. It’s closer to spiced taco meat, which is tasty in the taco salad, or all you can eat tacos for $7.95. It’s served dry, juicy, or soupy. These can be added on the side to your liking. The chili is best over spaghetti, or tamales, or on a chili dog. This restaurant is close to Kaufman Stadium, so it can be busy before games. It is a historic restaurant and worth a visit to knock it off your Kansas City dining bucket list.

I love the do it yourself aspect for the chili. That way you have no one to blame but yourself. The place is always clean when I come in and the price can’t be beat. And the tacos sauce is my all time favorite.
How can they call this chili? It was a plate of dried up Hamburg. No Flafor at all and it cost 30.00 for lunch. Very disappointed. Do not waste your money!
I like it. It’s a little differant, but I like the food. You just have to decide how you want it. I think they have great chili dogs, I like mine dry with out beans. it’s not spicy not unless you add it. Good food.
Best all you can eat tacos!. They are famous for the chili! But the all you can eat tacos are awsome! The super burrito and the foot long chili cheese dog are can’t miss items!
