Food is fine. But i do not recommend getting delivery. Took almost an hour half to get 1 meal and the order was still wrong. ill never do that again.
Lady who answers hard to understand. Never tells you when food will arrive even after you ask. I called her and told her the food was wrong missing items she told me I was wrong and started yelling at me then hung up. Never will order anything again.
Too much rice, they didn’t deliver my full order. This was for company lunch and most orders were messed up. Embarrassing.
Gold Lion is awesome!. Anytime I want Chinese take out, I order from Gold Lion. I have it on speed dial! They have the best Chinese food in the area. I try different things to get a better rounded menu experience. Love it all! The egg drop soup is best I’ve tasted in town. Try it!!!
Best Chinese in Independence. I love good Chinese takeout. Since my favorite takeout place closed, I’ve been trying new ones and been continually disappointed. Finally I tried the Gold Lion and it’s wonderful. They are very friendly and helpful. My favorite is the beef and broccoli with crab rangoon. I love love love crab rangoon, and the ones from Golden Lion are awesome. I go there about once a week, and they always remember my order.
One of the best… I am a chinese food maniac and these guys have the best asian food anywhere. The only thing i’ve ever disagreed with is their orange chicken, it’s a little too close to the sesame chicken’s flavor. They have hands down the best crab rangoon i’ve had anywhere, it’s always creamy, and you see can actually see what is in their filling, they don’t just use extracts like all the other places! Their delivery service is amazing, and free on orders over $12, I enjoyed them regulary when I lived in Independence. Overall a gem, and a great place for an MSG free asian food fix!
