Hwang’s Chinese has a Good Buffet. I enjoy this cozy restaurant that my friend Betty introduced me to many years ago. We both had a passion for Chinese Food and neither her hubby or mine liked it. It became our ritual to go for Chinese ever few months. Since the selections on the Buffet at Hwang’s were always so plentiful, we made many trips there over the years. It was generally just the two of us but once in a while we’d invite other Chinese-minded friends. I’ve also treated several of the grandkids to trips to Hwang’s over the years as they, too, love Chinese food.It’s been a while since I made the trip over there and I’ll have to start making plans to go back with a Chinese buffet loving friend.The restaurant is tucked into the farthest north space in an unassuming strip mall that is reached by jogging off 40 Highway onto 35th Street. They do not have Sunday hours. You will find they are a good bet for a wide selection of tasty Chinese entrees as well as white and fried rice, lo main noodles and lots of other yummy choices. Finish off with Chinese donuts or a little fruit and soft serve ice cream, if you are still hungry. If I’m not full, I generally just go back for a helping of one of the entrees I didn’t try the first time through the line or a second helping of their wonderful fresh green beans. To each his own….
