Pitiful Excuse for a Coffee House. Visited this place twice in the last month. Poor experiences both times. On my first visit I thought they came across a bad lot of espresso beans, but this morning I discovered that is all they ever have. If that wasn’t bad enough, I had to wait at least 10 minutes both times for coffee that is mediocre at best and that’s with two barristas behind the counter. I make far better caps and lattes with my cheesy Tassimo machine. The only reason I can think that this place is open is that they have no competition near the Independence Square and/or their customers have absolutely no idea what good coffee tastes like. It’s no wonder the corporate coffee shops do so well and I’m all for independent business ventures. Sad.
MSCH is an inviting place to enjoy a great brew– hot or cold. The employees are friendly and efficient and the House is always clean and comfy. It’s a regular stop during my week. (Don’t miss the biscotti- it’s awesome.)
Small, cozy, and hits the spot. Good customer service. Had the BK Bagel. Average taste, came out hot, a little pricey. Note: other occasions outside of breakfast might be better.
MSCH is a great addition to the Independence Square. Knowing the hardships and triumphs of small businesses they support other locally operated venues by serving their products to further assist help small community. For a welcoming spirit and warm atmosphere, travel down to the square for a smile and a cup of joe.
