Very good donuts and lots of options, it’s a small building and they only take cash but it’s worth it. I would recommend to anyone looking for a non-chain donut place.
Delicious donuts, bad P.R.. My family and I love the donuts here and have for years. They are light and flaky and don’t leave a greasy film in your mouth. The only problem is that the employees are rude, snobbish pigs. They are snappy and talk in a patronizing tone to everyone, especially if they ask a question. This especially includes the short, overweight one who resembles a troll/oompa-loompa. They tend to cut you off if they don’t want to answer your question. Also, the employees all look like they have a corncob stuck in a very private place. But I do have to say that every so once in awhile they get a new employee who is very kind and polite and has good manners, but they always seem to disappear after awhile. I guess they weren’t mean enough. All I can say is, if they want to keep a steady flow of customers, I suggest they all have a major attitude adjustment and fast.
I love, love, love these donuts. i am always sad when they go on vecation for a month. but hey everyone deserves a vacation. by the way did i mention that i love the donuts!!!
I’ve grown up on poppys donuts. I don’t ever remember a time of not having them ! Will always be a great place with great donuts (especially the strawberry!!!!!)
Read the two reviews about children, bad customer service, and the jerk who can’t stand children, this is no place for anybody to go, except maybe jerks!Won’t even bother, good luck to your business, you won’t be around long. Will pass this on to everybody!
Thank you on behalf of ALL your other customers!. Thanks for sticking up for all of us that do not need a giant dose of obnoxious children with our donuts!!! Another reason to frequent Poppy’s besides the spectacular donuts!!20 Oct, 2010Upper echelon of the KC kingdom of donuts. So many to choose from and perfectly yummy! Well worth a visit from what ever part of town you are from-nuf said.
