Okay I will say I like it based on what’s available in the area. This is just okay. The b chicken tacos are not worth trying. The quest is really thick and needs something added. The king burrito had good flavor but not very big. Worth a stop but there are many other places in KC.
I love love Mexican food and was really pleased. This place had such good food I loved it all especially the cheese dip so so good I ordered tacos beef loved them then I tried some of my boyfriends platter I forgot what it was but it was tasty 🙂 my only complaint was service was a little slow and they could give free chips an salsa like most other Mexican places but owell no biggie I’m a fan either way
What a gem we are so happy to have found! Their fish taco is amazing and I’m not even a huge fish lover! Great service too! It was our first time there tonight and they were out if the first 3 things I ordered, which was disappointing, but I found some other good choices. At the end of out meal they brought us a free dessert since they felt bad it was our first time and they were out of so much. Very sweet! We will definitely be back!!!
OMG what GREAT taco’s!! $1.00 on Wedsdays, only 1.50 regular.. Had the beef and chicken and ALOT of meat!! Fresh lettuce, great hot sauce. We couldn’t stop eating them!!OH YEAH and they deepfried to order. Going back for a platter for dinner.Better taco’s than Panac’s or ANY of those Mexican restaurant!!
Jumpin’ Avocados!!!. I have been driving by Queen Taco for a couple years on the way for school drop off and pick up. I never thought twice about the place. Well yesterday I’d been craving Mexican food all day and just stopped by not expecting much. Wow was I in for a shock, the best taco I’ve had for a long, long time! I chose to have the Queen Taco Platter which came with 2 tacos with marinated beef, caramelized onions, diced poblano chilies, cheese topped with a few slices of avocado. The platter also came with refried beans, rice and chips with salsa. Fantastic! I have become use to being served small tacos when out so I went ahead and ordered a small order of deep fried avocado wedges. Boy was I ever wrong, the tacos were large and the deep fried avocado wedges were huge; a whole avocado and a light dip. Wheel me to the car, I had to skip dinner that night! I have told all my friends and all the teachers and staff at my childrens school. A must try!
Whaaaaaaat?!. Don’t let the locale or atmosphere sway you from trying this place! This little hole in the wall is crazy good. The salsa is fresh and savory. The chips were warm and crispy. Chips and salsa are $1.50 or you get a small portion with your meal.We ordered enchiladas, crispy and soft tacos. Chicken and beef. All amazing.Wednesdays tacos are 99 cents. Why not give your money to a local business? Your stomach and your taste buds will thank you!
Wow Queen Taco is not messing around. My family and I ate here yesterday and were hoping they were open today. So good. I had a mahi fish taco that was out of this world. I got a couple of steak tacos as well. I thought I was getting two up to par tacos then was surprised! The steak tacos were better than I imagined. Staff is very nice. The lady gave me rice pudding to snack on while we were waiting. Very good. Highly recommended.
