Not so friendly.. I’ve gone in several times in the last few years and I use to really like it, now I’m going less frequently. The atmosphere has not been as cheerful as it once was. The service was once wonderful now you can sense the tension in the air when you walk in, not sure why you just can. The waitress you can tell are trying to be bubbly but you can tell they are walking on eggshells around their boss. If your lucky you may even get to hear the owner have a freak out on an employee for cleaning a floor. Strange I thought but what do I know. The food quality has started to slip at times. The tidiness is not always up to par either. It’s a shame to see this cute little cafe go down the drain. Not sure how much longer this place will make it at this rate.

My son had a pancake bigger than his head (he loved it.) & my husband dived into a double chili cheese burger that could turn heads. Thoughtful server put chili on the side so it wouldn’t sog up the perfectly toasted bun. Definitely excellent diner fare. Great prices for loads of food. Friendly service. My one criticism would be that it was a little untidy. We must of got there after the brkfst rush. We will be back. Can’t wait to try the pecan waffles & ham steaks everyone raves about.

A place I love. Rosie’s is a place I make sure to stop at every time I go over the mountain to visit family. I make sure to get a one of a kind scone and a Big train Chai tea. I have known the owners for 10 years now and they have remained the sweetest people and very caring of all their customers. It’s not just a job for them it’s serving a family there at Rosie’s I will be going there tomorrow. 🙂
Great diner – excellent food!. Served by Rosie and her staff. There’s not a lot of help turnover in this restaurant and as a resut, service and food are consistant and excellent!Highly recommend this Independence standard! Sadly, they’re closed on Sundays and Mondays!
