My first time eating at V’s Restaurant and I mean to tell you it’s a 10 not just a 5. I lived in the Kansas city area for 28 years and I never heard of this place until today. I’m super glad that I found this place because I had the black and bleu Kansas city strip steak and it was the best steak I’ve had in many years!!!! It does have a fancy dinner setting, it would be a great place to take a date! Also the staff is very friendly and professional. This restaurant is going in my favorite places to eat.

Good Italian food. Nice luncheon buffet. Reasonably priced. Food was fresh and good and nice selection.
Excellent service and good food. We had an extended family dinner here. There were 6 adults and two children, a 4 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. The waiter Sam was super accommodating. The four year is autistic and so we appreciated Sam working with us to have a pleasant family dinner. He was quick about refilling the 4 year old’s milk and not complaining or looking annoyed with our active, loud little boy.The food was phenomenal. We all loved our various meals. We ordered the Combination Antipasto, the Angel Hair Di Angelo in reg and gluten free, the Steak Dominico, Filet Mignon and Lobster, and the Cannelloni con Fruti di Mare. This is a great fine dining establishment and we highly recommend it.Visited June 2014
Good for sunday brunch. My first experience with v’s was sunday brunch last week. I thought it was very good. unlimited mimosas… 😉 i loved the comfortable setting that was made up of a lot of regulars and a lot of new comers. i look forward to going back for lunch or dinner soon.
First and last time to go here. The staff was friendly enough but the food was just plain awful. PLAIN being the operative word. The calamari appetizer was very bland–and had no flavor either in the breading or the sauce it was served with. I ordered the Chicken Lemonata. What a mistake. It came and was two over cooked thin chicken slices covered in what looked and tasted like paste. There was no lemon/wine flavoring whatsoever. The side of spaghetti was cold and the sauce was so watery, that it looked like it was pasta water with food coloring in it. My husband ordered the veal parm and it was a giant hamburger patty. It had no flavor and had the same water red sauce over it. Our meals were to celebrate our 35th anniversary and we will be going someplace else to celebrate. This place was a diasaster.
Aweful service, mediocre food. Our waitress was not friendly to us and far from timely. They made it very difficult for us when we tried to pay using a Groupon that they offered. I watched other people in the restaurant have the same frustrations dealing with them with the Groupon they had bought. The food was… eh… ok. Definitely not worth the hassle to us. My wife and I had both independently decided that we would not be coming back there before we ever got outside to talk about it.
