Only have eaten breakfast at this diner with an interesting atmosphere. Good French toast and pancakes. I did not care for the dry as can be hash browns. The American fries looked delicious on another customers plate. The biscuits and gravy were not to my liking , biscuit was flat and the gravy was not a taste I cared for. The service was good and friendly. The food was piping hot and arrived quickly. I will return to this diner for a burger or the French toast or pancakes. It has a cool atmosphere.

This place has a interesting atmosphere worth taking a look at, BUT has LOUSY TO VERY SO SO food at prices that are to high and portions that are to small. $10 for a three piece fried chicken is a LUNCH SPECIAL, right down the street at the diner in Lee’s Summit YOU CAN BUY A MUCH BETTER 3 PIECE CHICKEN DINNER FOR ABOUT $7 SERVERD ON A PLATE, WITH ROLLS. Their taco Tuesday is a buck a taco for a small taco with much more lettuce then meat. The value and quality of their Thursday night steak special for a THIN rib eye is not even close to the great Steak specials around town, Maybe not a bad place for a drink and a pool game but as a restaurant /place to eat it is overpriced with well below good.
A very good, unpretentious $6 burger with fries, with a patio. Fits a niche in downtown lees summit that no one else is filling right now (especially at lunch).
