It had been a while since I’ve visited Siki so when my husband and I wanted sushi near Lee’s Summit I decided to take him there. I was really disappointed by the service and quality at our visit. The wait staff was practically on top of us as we were figuring out what to order. It became apparent they wanted us in and out fast to turn tables instead of providing a good experience. Our appetizers never came and our sushi was not the quality I’ve had there before. Likely not visiting again.
We have always loved the food at siki and have been going to the restaurant for many years. We visited today and were very disappointed with how filthy dirty it was. All of our plates were greasy and had food on them, the walls were extremely dingy and the bathroom walls had dried boogers on them. The filth was not from one day. It has built up over time. Unfortunately we cannot return unless they clean up their act.
They make excellent food. The BMW and spicey crab salad are fantastic. The restaurant does look pretty unimpressive. I prefer Siki to any other sushi place in KC.
