Every table feels secluded, waitstaff/service top itch and great food. I hate pot roast but think the pot roast nachos are incredible. Never a bad meal, lunch, brunch and dinner. Great for families, date night, special occasions.

The food was pretty good here, the atmosphere was nice, just a little on the dark side. The service was decent, not the best I’ve had but better then others. Overall, though I left pleased with my experience.

Everything coming out of this kitchen is excellent. My wife and I have been here quite a few times — including tonight. I can’t say we’ve had EVERYTHING on the menu here but we’ve had a lot of items, all of which have been excellent – the Summit Burger, the Chicken Carbonara pasta dish, the prime rib dip sandwich, the hummus, the artichoke dip, everything. Tonight we tried the tagarishi (??) fried shrimp, which were excellent, fried but light, with two dipping sauces, one like a remoulade and one a sriacha thai chile sauce. We split an excellent wedege salad, which I’d put up against any of the KC finer restaurants’ wedge salads. This one is great here, excellent little pieces of bleu cheese, nice bits of bacon, and they split it on two plates for us. Service is outstanding here, too, the servers are great, friendly, and so is management, who truly appreciates your business – and not in a fake way either. Once you’re done with a dish, it’s whisked out of your way but not too soon. Atmosphere is great too, great music. Love this place!

Great food – service a little slow!. Had a work dinner here the other night. The drinks were delicious, the food was excellent as always, but the service was very slow. We had to wait for several of our drinks and food items, the plates were left on the table for a long time after we were done, and we had to ask for the check after waiting for it for a while. We then went to the patio and waited for service out there. We got tired of waiting and went to ask for help at the bar, and they said they’d send someone out. We were plainly sitting out there – you could see us through the window, so I’m not sure why nobody thought to check on us for drinks? It could have just been a bad night, but on a Friday night I would have thought they’d be more on point. The delicious food outweighed the sluggish service though! I would recommend this place – the other times we’ve been there we had no problems!!12 Jun, 2014Great place in Lee’s Summit – date night, special event, or just fun – busy Happy Hour!. We went to Summit Grill on a Wednesday evening and were shocked by the amount of people there! The bar was full and hopping, it was Caribbean night and they had someone playing steel drums on the patio. Food was excellent – Togaroshi shrimp as an appetizer – was probably the best shrimp dish I’ve ever had. My husband had the parmesan crusted tilapia, I had the filet – all with potatoes, asparagus, and we added house salads. The Tilapia was really flaky and delicious – the parmesan crust was perfectly browned and crisp. The filet was cooked perfectly too, and everything else was very good. As I said, the bar was hopping – the restaurant wasn’t super busy, but that’s ok. I highly recommend this as a somewhat special night out, or a nice place to take someone for business lunch or whatever. Our bill was $93 but we both had 2 drinks, appetizer, salads along with our entree, and I expected the price. Really great to have such a nice place here in Lee’s Summit!21 May, 2013I was very impressed when we walked on. Very nice bar area and really friendly bartenders. The drinks were great. We had a big group and were seated pretty quickly. The waiters were very knowledgeable and the food was great! They also have a great menu. Recommend!

The night I went was a Monday and it was very busy. I watched two excellent servers as the restraunt filled up very quickly, keep there cool while going from table to table taking wonderful care of all. Our server was a spunky, knowledgable young lady named Sue or Susan. She took the time to help recommended some dinner items and what terrific knowledge she had because my K.C. Strip was great. My coworkers raved how good there food was. One of them had lobster stuffed salmon and another had chicken fried chicken with gravy. It was an outstanding experience and will definetlly be back. Great service and food.14 Apr, 2013I went to Summit Grill with 7 others from work for dinner.
