I love BBQ. I have not had good BBQ at this restaurant. BBQ Wings are microwaved to warm them up. They come out making that noise Fajitas make when they are on the way to your table. Other meats I have tried were not very good. Tough and flavorless is how I describe them. I will not go to The Hickory Pit again.
Best BBQ in KC area. The bottom line is this is the best BBQ in KC. Other places may have a bigger name, but the quality, consistency and variety here are second to none. Do yourself a favor and make the drive for a night out. The location is easy access and the building and decor are terrific. Don’t forget the Cajun wing and potatoes skin app to start— best around.

THE RUBEN!! ooooooooooh, it is so so so good. Smoked corn beef – deliciousness!! Get the sauce on the side, it almost needs nothing added.
