Great Food. The crab cakes are wonderful.
Perfect place to relax and be pampered!. We try and dine at CORK once a month or more. It’s also our favorite place to take out of town guests. The menu is unique to Jefferson City. If you want routine and boring, visit one of the many chains on MO Blvd. If you want fresh and flavorful, visit Cork! Also, since it is a small shop, it’s best to always call first. They host a lot of private functions and their hours vary. Their Gumbo is a favorite along with their cheese platter with Cork’s signature popcorn and chutney.
Wine & Food Under The Night Sky. The four of us stumbled onto the Capital City Cork when we saw two ladies sitting street side enjoying a bottle of wine during the Jazz and Art event. This was just what we were looking for in Jefferson City, a higher end restaurant, that goes the extra mile to prepare simple fresh food and serve it bistro style. We had a great time visiting, sipping wine and enjoying the music as we set outside. The manager was very attentive, taking care to see that our water pitcher was full, this warm evening. We visited with him about the concept of the Capital City Cork. I hope the locals support this place, as it will be a draw for us to return to Jefferson City for a weekend of relaxation, great fresh food, wine, outside tables and excellent service
Nice and quiet environment for hanging out and chatting. Server, Mitchell, was exceptionally pleasant, polite and accommodating as well as helpful. Really enjoyed my visit there and will definitely return!
Downtown Jewel. Check this place out! You walk in and feel like you are NOT even in Jefferson City. Finally a place to take out of town guests and not be embarrassed. We love this place! If you haven’t ever been…..don’t wait. You will not be disappointed. The service is also stellar.
Pulled Pork Tacos. This place has the best pulled pork tacos I have ever eaten. It’s all about the salsa. They need to bottle that stuff and sell it. Great decor and service. Never been disappointed. Don’t take the Pulled Pork tacos off the menu!
Best in Jefferson City – Hands DOWN. My wife and I have been going to CORK almost weekly for the past year. We go because their service is simply the best in town and their food is ever changing, local, seasonal and really, really delicious. It’s a very small operation which is something we find very charming. The staff is so small that we know everyone that works there. The owner has such joy for her shop that you can tell she puts every ounce of energy and creativity in making sure it is a success. Thank you for providing a beautiful restaurant for my wife and I to escape to for date night. We love CORK!
