I hope that Lee’s continues with them16 Oct, 2011Long time favorite of mine. Lee’s has been a favorite of mine ever since I moved to Plymouth (Mich) in 1985. got a coupon in the mail, gave ’em a try, and became a regular, like most of the community, at their Wednesday night special. The man who founded Lee’s was supposed to succeed Harlan Sanders at KFC, but Sanders sold out and he was cheated out of the position that he was waiting for. He went his own way, and we should all be grateful. In the mid to late 1980’s, there were Lee’s all over eastern Michigan (metro Dearborn area) but sadly, they’ve collapsed down to 1 or 2 locations. I am delighted to live in an area where Lee’s is available.
