A JC Tradition? I hope not…. My first experience: Lunch on a beautiful spring day with my wife. I ordered a buffalo burger and my bride.. a simple pasta dish. To start, it took too long to get waited on (about 10 min to get a hello and a drink of water), when we finally did get waited on, our food came in a semi unreasonable time frame (about 20 min). Now we started having some real fun for lunch; my burger tasted like it was either spoiled or it had been dropped in a toilet, and it for sure was freezer burned. On a high note, my wife’s pasta dish was neither polluted or spoiled, but was essentially tasteless and her salad was bagged iceberg lettuce with cheap italian dressing. When I complained about my burger, I was informed that I probably didn’t know what buffalo tasted like (side note, I’ve probably consumed over 100 lbs of buffalo in my life)! As kindly and politely as possible, I asked for a replacement and 20 minutes later they brought me either another spoiled freezer burned burger or the same one reheated. Bottom line; over an hour of my life invested along with over $20 and absolutely no offer to make it right. I guess I’m just too unsophisticated to know what good food tastes like OR good service is…To be fair we tried them for dinner with friends and Tish was our wait person. What a delight! I’ve traveled extensively and have not had better, more attentive service anywhere and she recommended the Calamari that has a very unique and GOOD jalepeno raspberry sauce. Awesome! The rest of our dinner was mediocre at best and frankly over priced for what we received. I wish Trish worked at a good restaurant, we’d undoubtably frequent it for her great service and the GOOD food!
