Charge for refills on raspberry tea, but they don’t let you know that until it is time to pay. When we asked why refills on everything else is free but the tea is not nor customer informed of it….. the owner told us to pay and get out. Really???? I will never go back to Mels again. Very sad the ownership values their customer so little
If this could allow a zero thats what Id give it. Dont be fooled. This isnt the old Mels with friendly service, smiling faces and great food. This is a place where the owner belittles customers and her employees. The food is abhorrent. Owner will argue with you even after telling her how bad the experience is. Ill never be back. $40 was stolen from us this am. Youve been warned. Stay away.

How stupid to market your newly owned restaurant that way. I know they sold because they always had to check and see if they were out. That was the nicest touch since the young man took it over.Another dumb thing is to take the newspaper machine out. Melvin offered this forever and people were used to getting their paper then having a meal with their newspaper and enjoying the two. Perhaps the new man should mind his restaurant and not play so much golf or he will soon lose the clientele and won’t EVER EVER get them back. Oh, and stop talking your Republican mumbo jumbo out amongst the customers. It is not appreciated and there are many other places we can go besides your place and will if that continues on the floor. SO NOT SAVVY young man.
