We eat here every time we are in Jeff City! It is fabulous! Great food and great service. Had the sirloin steak salad tonight and it was so good. Robert was our waiter and he always gives us great service.

Great place, not sure about the negative posts, never had a bad meal here, spicy boiled shrimp is great as are the steaks

My wife and I ate here the other night. It had been a couple of years since we had been there. I was concerned since the place was fairly empty, but everything was great. I had a seafood pasta and my wife has the fish special . Both were excellent . The service was very good also. Disregard the bad reviews.
Service is horrible. My boyfriend and I ate there for the first time the other night. There were about 5 other tables there before us, yet we were there for 4 hours waiting. It took forever just to get our appetizer then more to even get our dinner salad. By the time our dinner finally arrived we were starving. We both ordered filets, garlic mashed potatoes, and shared a piece of salon that tasted like cardboard. We asked the waiter for season salmon, not plain salon with 0 flavoring. Our steaks were very tender but not cooked how we asked. They also were very bland tasting, seasoning was nasty and no juice . We didn’t complain to the waiter because we were hungry and didn’t want to go wait anywhere else. We have ate at alot of fine dining restaurants and this isn’t one of them. Will never go back
DELICIOUS!!!. I am not a big review person – but O’Donoghue’s is SOOOO good, I felt as though I had to come on and write one! I have gone to O’Donoghue’s many times with my family and you cannot get better food, atmosphere and service!! The food is excellent – they always have unique items on the menu as well as the classics, so there is always a bunch to choose from! Every dish I have gotten there has been absolutely delicious. The building is a beautifully restored historic building, a nice place to visit with family and friends – and the servers are very friendly. You can tell there is a lot of heart poured into this place! The best food in Jeff City bar none!
