Lunch at oscar’s. I ate at Oscar’s recently, after the restaurant re-opened, and really enjoyed it. The waitress was very nice and personable. I ordered a bowl of chili and an avocado cheeseburger. Both were delicious. I took the time to walk around the restaurant to observe all of the artwork relating to mid missouri over the past hundred years. I loved the food and atmosphere at Oscar’s and will certainly return next time i’m in the area
Best omelets around. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, and Oscar’s does it right. Pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy – all good. But the omelets – huge – and awesome.
Great Breakfast!. Oscar’s Classic Diner is a clean, casual, locally owned restaurant. They have a varied menu and serve breakfast all day. The staff is friendly and treat you like family. Whether you are looking for an omelet, a savory steak, or simply pie and coffee this is the place!
Fun 50’s Style Diner. Great 50’s style diner! Awesome breakfast menu as well, try my personal favorite-the Country Fried Steak! (called the Harry S. Truman)
Wish I Never Waited!. I first heard about Oscar’s from a good friend of mine a few years ago and had been looking for an excuse ever since to make my way down to Jeff City. This place is a no BS, classic diner serving up the kind of great food that’ll put meat on your bones. Even your hungry hoss’s will walk away happy after eating here with the portion sizes they give you! I wish there were more places like Oscar’s but that’s what makes it so special. Do yourself a favor and don’t pass this place up.
Great food, especially their breakfast. Service depends on the person but most times it has been fine, and the price is reasonable!
Miss this place!!. Can’t wait until you are able to re-open. Our family comes here every weekend for Saturday breakfast. Been trying to find somewhere to get good breakfast until you re-open, there is nowhere that is as good as Oscar’s :(Can’t find good breakfast anywhere. Guess we are gonna have to start cooking breakfast at home until you open again. We miss you!
