Good food but overpriced for bar food.

Yum! Cheesesteak soup is amazing! Fresh, food. …and don’t forget the Guinness!

Their burgers and potabello fries are great, but took a long time to get the food since they make it fresh. Price was reasonable for the quality of the food.

Along with being a convivial & authentic feeling Irish pub (in Jeff City, of all places…), it is merely the most consistently great food in town. Not to be missed: all the burgers, portabella mushroom fries (or ANYthing fried in their beer batter), cheesesteak, & chicken fingers. And the best steak I’ve had in JC happened to be at Paddy’s

Just like Irlenad. Paddy’s is a pub, not a restaurant in the sense of the definition. Yes, they serve food and it is good. It is a gathering place. Time to stop and enjoy the brew, food and friends. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you’re in a hurry, well, slow down and enjoy your Guiness. If you’ve never been to Ireland, well, welcome to Ireland. Keep up the good work and serving some of the best food in town.

Your Experience May Vary. This is a wonderful restaurant and pub, one of the best in Jeff City, in a building rich with history. That said, think before you go: If it’s busy, the evening rush, or if it’s getting late, it takes on more of the quality of a bar. Seating gets hard to come by, and waiters more distracted. Also, read the menu carefully: There are some items offered here that you really shouldn’t be eating (ask your doctor, for instance, about the deep-fat-fried burger). (But some people like that sort of thing, especially when they’re drinking; maybe you do, too.) Apart from those dishes, there are nightly specials and a wealth of traditional Irish dishes that are simply delicious. By the way, this is probably the only place in Central Missouri to get mushy peas! While you’re there, don’t forget to stroll down to Rotary Park at the north end of Bolivar Street–about half a block away– to enjoy a view of the Missouri River and the bridge.
