I Usually Avoid Chains, But . . .. Don’t get me wrong: I’m all about the local businesses, and I usually avoid eating and shopping at chains. But we can indeed always count on the Jeff City Ruby Tuesday for decent, good food and a nice selection. The place is clean, the waitstaff are friendly and attentive enough.Also, they are usually open when many of the local places are closed (like on Sunday evenings).We eat here more than we’d like to admit, considering we always tout the small, independent places.
