This place is ghastly! I honestly don’t know how they stay in business! By comparison, Taco Bell has more authentic Mexican than this place is Thai.
Not my cup of tea/avoidance advised!. We are Asian and have been to countless Thai restaurants over god knows how many years. After seeing the reviews, we decided to make a stop over to check this place out. Regrettably! As soon as you enter, there is a musky odor.(warning #1). The waitress was distant and seemed disinterested, pointing out our table from her desk. (Warning #2). We were the only people in the place. The food came fast but appeared bland. The Thai fried rice came without coriander or many of the vegetables listed. It was bland and tasteless. The massaman curry, which I have had many times at other Thai places was watered down, too sweet and the accompanying jasmine rice dry and overcooked. The chicken pieces in both the fried rice and the curry was smelly and stale/old. The phad Thai bordered by my wife was sour and extremely sweet with no other flavors and was incredibly inedible. We ended up leaving almost all our food on the table. The only good thing: the bill with tip came to under $35.00.The good news is that we did not add to our waistline. But we left hungry and will never ever return here.To all those who venture here, all our condolences!
Authentic, fresh, delicious…… This restaurant is a gem in Mid-Missouri. They have some of the most freshly prepared and authentic dishes in Jeff City and very reasonably priced as well. The spice rating is very accurate, with 5 and up having progressively spicier flavors. Carry out is best during the lunch hour as seating is VERY limited. It’s is impossible to bring a group bigger than 6 into the restaurant to be seated. However, calling in and carrying out still gets you the same portion, same wonderful food, without the hassle of trying to eat in with the very cramped, and limited seating. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting great Thai food.
Love this place!. Sometimes the service is a little sub-par but the food is always beyond my expectations. I love the location on High St and will not visit the new location on MO Blvd ever again. Top dishes are the Pad Thai always #9 and the Panang Curry is amazing! I would also say they have the BEST potstickers in town!
Worst service!! I saw our waitress scoop ice into our drink cups with her hand. They messed up our order. When it reached the kitchen I then saw the cook remove the rice off my plate with his hands. Will not go back!
My first visit – very impressed. Carry out order, they were upfront that it would be 20 minutes to prepare. They were nearly exact on the wait time. Staff was very nice. Just had fried rice. It was excellent, though there was not much chicken. I’ll be back.
Nice. Very decent Thai food. The layout of this restaurant is unique to say the least. Long, narrow and very high ceiling with a cool and huge skylight. Although we’ve never been there for dinner, it is absolutely one of my favorite Jefferson City places for lunch. My only criticism is that I’m a big guy and the serving sizes are sometimes a little small for my taste.. but hey, just order an appetizer or two and you’ll be fine!
