Don’t bother to visit. This is my second time eating at this establishment. The food is poor quality for the price. If I am eating out, I expect something better then what I can get in the frozen food section of the grocery store. I posted the photo of the Grilled Chicken Kabobs. These look like a frozen, seasoned chicken beast that was cooked then cut up and placed on a skew then reheated. Even my husband mixed veggies looked like frozen steam veggies. The kids meals came with canned tropical fruit. The beers on tap are impressive but skip the food.

Both times the waitress took forever to take our orders (we actually had to go get her), never checked on us, AND screwed up at least one of the orders (the last time, two out of four orders were messed up). Don’t even try to go here on your lunch hour because you won’t get back to your desk within an hour. Hell, you’ll probably be waiting for the waitress to take your order for at least 25 mins. Everyone in our party of 4 ordered salads and it was 50 minutes before we ate, lol! The food is just not good enough to deal with such low-quality service, so I won’t be going back ever again.
Food good. Food was good music too loud will not go back until I hear that Volume is turned way down.
The food is good (for Jefferson City)…the service was terrible!. My wife and I decided we would try a new restaurant for our date night and we had heard decent things from a coworker about the Hoxton. When we arrived, we sat at an empty table (there is now hostess as it is more of a bar than a grill) and waited for our server to arrive. After waiting for 5 minutes, I went to the bar to let them know we were waiting for our orders to be taken. Approximately 15 minutes later, after the server had visit the table to either side of us multiple times, our order was taken and we obtain drinks! I believe the server thought she was doomed to receive a bad tip (I was still going to give her another shot) because we didn’t see her until she brought the check out. (Another server brought our food out to us) After talking with my coworker who recommended the restaurant, he admitted he had only been there late at night and more people were drinking instead of eating. The food is good for the Jeff City area, my wife and I may order it to go if they allow it but it is unlikely due to the level of poor service we received. I would recommend if you are in the area to go over 1 block and eat at Arris’s Bistro (It is significantly better for both service and food.)

Incredible food. Onion rings and fried pickles are great appetizer choices. I had the cowboy burger which was very juicy and great quality for the price. The atmosphere and beer selection are great. Beware of the death metal music blaring on the speakers. Would normally rate this place a 10 out of 10 but the music brings it down to maybe a 6 or 7 unless screaming death metal is something you enjoy
It’s Good!. We met friends for dinner there with our pre-teen aged kids and it was really good! We had wings, empanadas, pizza, pasta, and salad. The pizza is very similar to another very popular pizza place here in town (Arris’s Pizza.) The decor was bar like … lots of neon beer/alcohol signs, brick, lots of tables. The service was great too! We will go back soon!
