This is great Mexican food. In the past 2 weeks in has changed ownership and it’s not as good.
Good food, fast service, reasonable prices. If you order one of the daily lunch specials, you can get a full meal, a drink, and chips & salsa for under $5. That has to be the best value anywhere in Joplin. I have eaten at Acambaro more times than I could count and it is very consistent. I especially like the Carne Asada tacos.

The garlic shrimp is quite good and plentiful.
Fun & Casual. Acambaro is a quick in & out place to go for good mexican food. The restaurant has reasonable lunch specials and the wait staff is great.
