This is a very underhanded and dishonest practice that will be exposed.As you can see, their responses to negative reviews are unprofessional and tries to shift the blame onto the customer.The best practice would be apologize to the customer and learn from the review to improve their business practices and customer service skills.Good luck to them, I will never be eating there again and I will be letting my friends and family know to avoid Crabbys and choose somewhere friendlier and less threatening to eat.

Wow. No review in a year? I think now is a great time. Crabby’s has always been a favorite of mine, but now with a new owner I am really liking some of the changes. First of all, Sunday BRUNCH. I LOVED brunch. They just started maybe 4 weekends ago so the menu is new and fresh. Secondly, this is just such a fun place to go for a date night, amazing dishes with great drinks. Great spot for lunch too. Lastly, the new owner took time to clean the building up a bit, not that it was ever bad, but I truly appreciate the effort put in to keep it a top notch restaurant.
Surprised by poor food quality. Had lunch at a favorite restaurant today. Saddened by quality of both entrees. We started strong with delicious portobello fries, then salad and squash bisque. Then we were served risotto that was best described as rice soup, and salmon that was severely overcooked. After the friendly server put a new order in the owner came over to personally apologize and told us it may have happened due to them prepping for a Mardi Gras dinner that evening. Then we received round two. My partner ordered fish tacos which would have been delicious, if the cook hadn’t used so much blackening seasoning to the point the salt level was ridiculous. Then, second shot at the risotto that has been, up to this point, my favorite lunch item. They had added, in my estimation about a half cup of CHEDDAR CHEESE, disgusting. There is no way the owner/chef looked at what was being sent out. Saddened because Crabbys has always been somewhere to go where we have had great atmosphere, drinks, service, and food. We are going to hope this is due to a changing of the guards, give it a month or two and hope for the best next time.
A real jem in Joplin, MO!. My husband and I enjoy going to Crabby’s for drinks, appetizers and dinner…there is nothing that compares to our dinning experience at this place. We attempt to venture out to other restaurants but always find ourselves going to Crabby’s because it never disappoints us 🙂
As a 48 state traveler, this is a great choice for a restaurant in this area. I did have a tiny issue, but Bang provided the best service ever!
Its a bar. Its not a restaurant with a bar in it… Its a smoky, loud, bar where you can get way over priced middle of the road seafood.
