  Special Place. My family loves Fortune East! It is a very economical place to get excellent food. While its not fancy in appearance, its a welcoming business. They have a drive through, so its convenient to call ahead and order superb Asian food to take home. James and Martha treat you like family. I highly recommend Fortune East.

  Its awesome. Best Chinese in Joplin. Sometimes you may catch it on an off day but, that’s any restaurant

  So friendly, so tasty.. I like a place that appreciates it’s customers. The whole staff knows myself and my mother the moment we walk in. Heck, half the time they know who we are just by the orders we phone in. My favorite place hands down, especially for sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein.

  I first ate at Fortune East back in 1981,and thus was born my love of Springfield style Cashew Chicken. I have had the dish in many different places. I find Fortune East still my favorite. Highly recommended!

  Love it. I love Fortune East, been a loyal customer since they were in the old Dog and Suds building on Rangeline.. Love the food, the egg rolls are the best anywhere.. James, Martha and the whole crew are awesome. No other Asian restuarant in town comes close.

  Great Lunch Deal. I have been going here for years and am pleased they are back. They have great lunch deals, the priced so well for the huge amount of food you receive.Great flavor, great service.
