I have been a customer of Ichiban since they opened. I have traveled a lot in my life and have ate at some great sushi restaurants, most of them are found in the costal regions. I have never found another sushi restaurant in the midwest that can even come come close. Every time I have had a business lunch or dinner there, the people I take become regular customers.
Meh…… It was ok. A little pricey for the quality.
From the out side I was hesitant about the Ichiban, but I was so glad that I went inside. It was an amazing restaurant. It didn’t have the smell that I associate with most oriental restaurants. The decor was incredible and the service was excellent. The waiters were attentive without making you feel like you were being rushed or that they were hovering. While all of this was impressive the most important part was the food. It was fresh, well presented, and delicious. If you come here please take your time and enjoy everything about the restaurant.
