This place looks a little sketch when you walk in, but, I promise, you want to order. My family gets food to go every week and we are never ever disappointed. The tacos especiales are the stuff of Mexican food dreams – both chicken and ground beef are fabulous. (They’re small and cheap, so order more than one.) Do yourself a favor and get a side of their homemade hot sauce, especially the green. Also, the guacamole is DIVINE. I know we’re talking about guacamole here, but it really is that good. To go orders are always quick, and I have never had a problem with service when dining in, though, admittedly, you sometimes have to take the initiative to ask for a refill or a fork. It’s worth it for food this good.
Great food. It’s the best Mexican food in Joplin maybe even the best in a 100 miles. I’ve been twice since I’ve moved here. The first time I got the carnitas burrito and the second time I got 3 tacos (carnitas, asada, & tripe) both were excellent. Great service and atmosphere.

Food is great. Love doin carry out mor than dine in. The waitress was rude and the service takes forever.
I love this place I get the same thing every time cause they are so good. The Chirazo Tostados and pork tamales. I have actually had their carne Asada tacos yummy and their guacamole is to die for!! Love their hot sauce both green and red. They also have bottled beer and in reply to the first review they do have a bathroom!!!
This is the only real Mexican restaurant in Joplin. The food is always freshly made and very tasty
