Deli food isn’t meant to be impressive, it’s sandwhiches and potatoes. I enjoy it because I always have leftovers the next day and a potato is vegetarian friendly, not much else in this town is. Don’t go in expecting perfection, it’s just nice people and deli food.

This place isn’t bad but it’s for old people with blown taste buds. Everything is bland. And the bread on the sandwiches is too wonder-bread-like.

McAlister’s – Ho hum…. There isn’t really anything special about McAlister’s. The servings are way more than one person should eat, but it just isn’t anything special. The first McAlister’s Deli that we went to in Memphis had homemade lemonade – this one doesn’t – it tastes like countrytime lemonade mix.
The restaurant looks nice, the food sounds good and is nicely prepared, but it’s always a disappointment. It’s just bland. Spice it up and this whole chain would be more successful. I always wonder if they’re going for the blue-hair crowd.
Great sandwiches. Orange cranberry club is one of the best sandwiches there. Taco salad with veggie chili is good too. Try their cookies!
