Love the tea, hate the bread bowls.. This particular location doesn’t have the best tea that I’ve had at a McAlister’s, but it wasn’t the worst. They have amazing sandwiches, but the bread bowls are lacking. If you want bread bowls, I suggest Panera.
Very disappointed in Mcallister’s sweet tea in joplin, I don’t even know how they can call it their famous sweet tea anymore when it taste like something you can get at mcdonalds or make at home your self with lipton and sugar. Might sound silly to some with me being a little picky but i used to LOVE their tea up until they had their free tea day last year, is when it seemed to change. Not sure how they made it before because even on their site it does not give the famous ingredients cept for cain sugar and a black tea and whatever else they don’t say. To me it taste like cheap, sugared down water with lipton now 🙁 I will not buy from them again. It’s different then before, for sure! Id like their famous tea back!
