Best buger in Joplin. Locally owned and the Double Whimpy is AWESOME and the home cut fries are killer. I won’t go anywhere else to buy a burger in Joplin. Oh and the Junkyard Dog is AWESOME too. But one of most important factors is that it is family owned and operated with a very friendly staff. I highly recommend Stogey’s Coney Island.
Pretty Good. My husband and I recently went here for lunch and it was pretty good. A co-worker of mine suggested it, her and her husband go a lot so we tried it and were pretty impressed. We each got a burger and shared some fries which was plenty. The food was good, the only complaint is they are cash only and being new in town I did not know and usually don’t carry cash but that day I happened to have some. Everyone should try this place at least once.

Not good for large group order.. Had a large group at the house and decided to get burgers, hot dogs and fries for the group about 10 burgers, 12 hot dogs and fries. Well this is another resturant that is off my list. One of the people in the group gave me their credit card for the meal, well guess what you can’t get anything there unless you know their pin number because Stogey’s don’t except credit cards anymore they have a ATM machine that charges you a fee to use your credit card. I hate these places!! I understand they want to make a profit but extra bucks to use a credit card to be able to order. All these places with ATM’s won’t get my business.!!!!!!!!!!!

Best burger in Joplin.. The Wimpy burger is incredible. Fresh beef, cooked to perfection. Delicious. Spaghetti Red is pretty good as well. Some classic food on Route 66… and, yes, they really do serve the best burger in Joplin, MO.
