Our food took over an hour to come to the table. We were told the kitchen only had one cook. The bartender/servers were short with us. Our waters were never full. My husband said the food was decent, but I did not care for mine.
I made a meal of the chicken strips. fries came with it. They had a odd flavor on it. I found out it was vinegar flavor. Never had that on fries before and part of them. Everything was good and bartender was good also.
Tessie was amazing. She wasn’t just good at remember drinks, but helpful with dinning suggestions and other information about Kansas City. Please note the restaurant in the Hotel is separate from the Bar and one has nothing to do with the other.
Tessie made us feel right at home and treated us like her family. Aside from the issues with the hotel and it’s dated interior and some housekeeping problems, having Casey’s and Tessie there made the stay so much nicer.
Tessie the bartender makes this place great. She always remembers us when we return each year. She always makes the best drinks. Very friendly person. Always gives great suggestions on places to visit when in KC.
