Great food. The food is great. The restaurant is larger than it looks from the street and is brightly painted. The staff is great.The fish tacos were delicious. The chips are made fresh and the sauces are spicy without being overly hot. The prices are excellent.
I hate this restaurant now. I brought my ID and I have recently turned 21 years old, and they called it a fake and wouldn’t serve me. I am appalled. The service was horrible, and my waiter brought me the wrong food twice.I do not recommend this place.
Muy muy muy!. Really impressed with the quality, quantity and value of the food, delighted by the service. There’s something for everyone for in-house dining from basics to complex; on this chilly day I dreamed of summer, their ceviche and a cold beer. (I think I may need take out to accomplish that, I didn’t see the option for beer or any other adult beverages and forgot to ask, it was that kinda day.)
Me LIkes!. I first heard about Chapala from a review in the KC Star, and was offended that I didn’t even know about the place when I only live 2 blocks from it. I went immediately, and found the food fresh and delicious! I was dared to try the ceviche, which I never had due to the raw aspect, but was converted instantly. Everything I’ve had so far has been a winner. Wish the space was big enough for an outdoor setting during nice weather. That would complete the experience.
