This restaurant was Disappointing. The tacos were soggy, mushy and bland. They have a nice assortment of salsas and relishes. The location and ambiance add little to the experience.
A must go. One of my favorite places in KC! SomeOf the best Mexican food I’ve had and you just can’t beat the price. Make sure to give yourself a little extra time during lunch. The service is quick, but you’ll need to fight for parking. I’m not the only one that loves this place.
It took me too many years to try this place. These are the best street tacos I’ve had in the KC area. The meat was moist and plentiful on each one. I need to go back to try their ice cream and etoles.
Great fresh tacos. I had the Viva Mexico that came with four tacos so I got to sample four of their great meat choices. The salsa bar was a nice change and really yummy as well.
Best tacos!!!. Everyone needs to try this place! The tacos are great, the beef especially! I was told by a Hispanic friend that the food here is the most authentic you will find in the area. Try the Pia drink if you like pineapple. And the homemade ice cream is to die for!
Breakfast Burrito. The breakfast burrito is everything! It is HUGE so you can probably share it. My husband had chorizo & I had the bacon. You need a knife & fork for this so it’s really not the right food if you are on the go. We enjoyed this for our Sunday Brunch at home, one of the BEST breakfast burritos ever! Mexican approved ;-P
Great but lacks consistency. It’s typically the same people working there and they’re always very nice and personable. overall i’m a huge fan of this little nook and the parent restaurant across the street. i’m here at least a few times a month. that said it lacks a bit of consistency especially with the crunchy tacos. often they’re barely filled which is a disappointment. at a place like this you expect a jam packed taco every time. that said i’ve found it smarter to just get a couple tostadas. they’re basically a flat taco with a little refried beans added. the difference is they pack them consistency with toppings and at only $2.25 each you can get full for $6. overall i love this place and would highly recommend it to anyone i just hope they start packing every taco the same, otherwise you’re no better than Taco Hell.
