Unbelievably authentic – and GOOD!. I’ve eaten lunch there a few times now and this place is authentic, GOOD and a very unique breath of Mexico in the Kansas City area. The food is authentic! I have had beef dishes so far but my lunch buddy had the chicken tacos today and raved about how good the chicken is – I will do that next time myself. If you like authentic Mexican cooking, salsas and sides, eat here!
Best Mexican Ever. If you have not tried Dos De Oros you are missing the best food & margarita’s in Kansas City. If there is a wait its worth it. My favorite are the tamales & breakfast anything
We eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants – Never again here. We had lunch today at Dos de Oros. First we noticed that the chips were fresh out of the bag. The salsa had less spice/heat that tomato soup. We asked if they had a spicier salsa. We got about two tablespoons. That was very good. We had chicken spinach enchilada and fish tacos. Again, no flavor. The meals were over priced by a dollar or two. We are still looking for a neighbor restaurant. Dos de Oros is not it. We have never had such poor Mexican food.
BB Loves this. I want to say this is one of my favorites here in Kansas City, and I have lunch here 2-3 times a week
Great place to eat! Love it 2 nd time in a week!
Third time’s the charm. Purely by accident, I have eaten at three KC Mexican restaurants in the past three weeks. The other two shall remain nameless, but let’s just say they are regionally or nationally famous, with celebrity chefs. Expensive places that charge $9 for guacamole and even charge for mediocre chips and salsa. Today, I went to Dos de Oros, and found that gold at the end of the rainbow! The quesadilla del camarones was loaded with huge shrimp and slices of avocado, accompanied by guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo. Everything was very fresh with an attractive presentation. The service was prompt and attentive. The total bill for two was $28. Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing authentic mexican. It’s right up there with Jalapeno’s as one of the best mexican restaurants in KC/OP. the three meat alambres are a lot of food but amazing, the burritos are huge and tasty and the service is always solid. i’d recommend this place to anyone looking for great mexican food.
