First time there- great fresh food!! Will definitely be back
The food is nothing special. The line was out the door when we arrived and not a lot of room to sit and eat. Nothing terrible about it, but I wouldn’t choose this place out of other choices in the metro area.
Happy Gillis made me very happy, good quality food, very tasty, I love little gems like this one! At first the price seemed high but the freshly made tasty goodness won me over & reminded me how important it is to support quality local establishments! After all you are what you eat :o) and I prefer to be Happy! The walnut chocolate chip cookie is still making my mouth water…
Storied neighborhood, shabby chic decor, eclectic flatware and furniture that’s been around the block. Kind of a tight squeeze depending on how many customers are there, but that’s a good thing. The food is phenomenal, the service is always friendly, and the whole drink situation is like nothing I’ve ever seen, and I couldn’t like it more. The crowning jewel of this hidden gem is the mustard though. Literally, the best mustard I have ever tasted. And yes, I am fully aware of how strange that sounds. Great place, highest recommendation for breakfast or lunch if you’re in the neighborhood.

Absolutely love this place! I’ve never had a bad meal here! The menu changes daily but it’s never disappointed me. The atmosphere is great as well. Place is small though-might have to wait for a table!
Great food but.. Always a lunch rush. Service could be a faster. Very fresh ingredients on fresh breads. Soups are fantastic. Tough parking and long lines can be discouraging.
