I called Hong’s restaurant for dinner prices for adults and kids; they asked me about the kids ages; I gave them all the ages. After we went and finished our meal, the bill was more than what I was told over the phone. I called the manager, Ivey came to help and she stated her staff misinformed me, and I most pay what I was billed; what a disappointment and poor customer services; they just lost a lifetime customer.
I so don’t like buffets…. That being said, if I’m forced or compelled to go to a buffet it’s always a pleasant surprise to find a good one. Hong’s pretty much nails it… really good Chinese restaurant staples and they’re not afraid of flavour or spice. Everything is kept hot, like burn your wrist steam table hot, and it is fresh and turns quickly. The Mongolian Grill is a nice option if you swing that way and they (allegedly) have pretty good sushi which I may have to make a return trip for if I can figure out when they have it.Pleasantly surprised. Pretty pricey, though, if you are not binge eating.
Heard it was a good buffet, it was an awful mistake to go I was in wait to be sitted down I was the only one waiting it took like 20 minutes for me to sitted and there was alot of seats open. The food was horrible the noddles were uncooked and the crab ragoon was oily and chewy and the food was cold and it being a Saturday. I wanted to try sushi but they did not have any I asked and the waiter said we don’t have no more I was upset it was only 7pm. Also I was rushed out given my ticket early on my second plate out. Never again.
We heard it was a good place to eat. It WAS NOT! Cold food on both buffet tables. Greasy noodles! Fake icecream, It was 5:30pm and we were very disappointed… We thought everything would be fresh for supper. Never again. Cost was 33.oo for 3. Don’t do it!
This place is awesome! It is a wonderful value for the money and their variety ensures that there is something for everyone. You can indulge yourself in a greasy fried Chinese food binge, or go for the Mongolian grill to make up a healthier creation of your own. They have an assortment of lean meats, including shrimp and chicken, and plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit so you CAN eat healthy and still leave happy. Will definitely go back and bring friends when I need my Chinese buffet fix.
Freaking orgasmic sushi with fresh ingredients. I recommend it for a quick bite. And a cheap price!
Can’t beat it.. $6.49 gets you an amazing lunch buffet which also includes a Mongolian Grill. Best General Tso’s chicken in town.
