Didn’t Even Eat. I went to the North Oak store to try In- A -Tub for the first time last night. First of all we walked in, place was empty. The employees decided to finish their loud conversation instead of even greeting us. Then when we were finally helped (by a guy with long greasy hair (which we saw when he took off his hat) and an even nastier beard. I have worked in the food industry for over thirty years and I have never seen ANYBODY allow hair like that, It kind of sets a bad image to those who have just moved to KCMO. He treated us like an inconvenience before we even ordered. We left because the store and the employees are gross and rude. I am not a demanding person, I just ask that when I go to a place where someone has CHOSEN to work, don’t treat me like I am a problem before I open my mouth, and seriously take a shower man, you looked and smelled like you needed it. I intend on telling EVERYONE I talk to about this and I am going to copy and paste this on EVERY review site I can find. Way to give a first impression to someone new to town, who is trying something for the first time. I also never intend on going back, or eating at ANY In-A-Tubs in the future.
Northland greasy greatness. If you’re from the northland you usually love it, if you’re not then you probably don’t like it because of the powdered cheese… you CAN get regular cheese. but why, the powdered cheese is what makes it so wonderful and different. A++ been going here for 20+ years back when it was in the old Antioch mall
GOOD ENUF TO EAT….DAILY!. Well getting an order of 15 of the regular tub tacos 4 days in a row pretty much sums up our review!!!!! Totally Terrific !!! LOVE EM AWFUL GOOD! D & J
Best taco you’ll ever eat. Don’t be discouraged by the powdered cheese or the place.
Worse than awful!. We eat out often and our expitations were not high. This was one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten. We recently moved to KC and the restaurant was packed – thought it was a good sign. I can’t imagine why people would abuse their tastebuds like that – and waste the calories…given that everything’s deep fried – it’s a lot of calories too!
Don’t be scared of the powdered cheese, its what makes it unique and not your typical fried taco. very greasy and delicious. been coming here since i was a kid inside of Antioch mall. and have turned on countless people to this hidden treasure
OMG-stay away from here!. Do you not know how close you are to Cascone’s or a decent restaurant?! POWDERED CHEESE PEOPLE-don’t say I didn’t warn you!!!
