1st time diners and loved it…. On the outset, I was concerned because my wife is usually unhappy with her meals when we try new venues… But the manager (?)…. made her feel right at home and offered some suggestions…. He actually got her preferences and said that he would take care of it…. I understand a bit more about Mexican food and was prepared to order my own meal but again questions and preferences were asked from him and he walked away with confidence.Outstanding meal…. From the squash soft taco starter to the mango cream cheese dessert…. Everything was excellent … My wife ended up with pollo and goat cheese wrapped with crispy bacon with the raspberry sauce and I had the steak chili rellenos. I was hoping for a red sauce of sorts since I was eyeing the Steak Chalapas but I was not disappointed.Timing could be a little tighter between end of meal and check delivery, but place was busy so that was easily forgivable. I know this restaurant needs to compete with other cookie cutter Mexican places in the area so they do offer the standard fare, but if you are adventurous and like to try new dishes…. This is the place for you.
Plain awful food and too expensive for what you get. I got an entre and I thought would it would come with sides, but of course it didnt. Awful service and it’s pretty standard low rating Mexican food but way too expensive. Way better places to eat in the area.
Bad service. The owner will come out and insult your food choices. Service will then be very slow. It took them 20 minutes to bring us our check after we asked for it. The food is not tradition Mexican restaurant food. The owner claims it is tradition from his area of Mexico, but it is very bad Southern Mexico food as well. There is no reason to visit this restaurant except that you have money and time to waste.
There is some good Mexican food out there there’s some bad Mexican food out there. There is a lot a very lot of average Mexican food out there. This is average Mexican food.
Go Here. Seriously. Do it.. Great little place. My wife and I ate there today and I’m not normally the type to write reviews, I rarely have the time yet I felt that this place deserved another review. I ordered the Pollo Adobado (chicken with achiote sauce, beans and rice), my wife ordered the Tacos Tapatios (chicken) and to start we had the Queso Fundido. Everything was delicious. The tacos were among the best I’ve ever had and the best my wife has ever had. The Pollo Adobado was delicious, and the servers were both attentive and accommodating.
Authentic!. Excellent authentic Mexican and Aztec food. Similar to what I remember on my trips to New Mexico and the southwest. Owner is friendly and very hands on.
