Poor service / Bad food. I have visited this restaurant a number of times. Today was the worst experience I have ever had at this establishment. Service was very poor. Chicken was super dry. I will never go back.
Wonderful Place. This is the best Mexican in Kansas City. We prefer the one in Liberty rather than the one by Metro North Mall, service and food is better. The espinanca dip is awesome, especially being so cheap on top of it. The manager is always around and with the team waiters, it is so easy to get refills or get whatever you need. I can’t say enough about the food, I’m always craving it at least once a week.
Mahi used to be decent, no longer. It’s not authentic Mexican and mostly bland tex-mex. Margaritas are on the very weak side. The team waiting is annoying and makes it at times chaotic.
Great place: Request for Rachel. I am a very picky eater. I am the diner that requests particular things. Rachel the waitress is excellent and very nice. The food is always great and she makes sure I am always taken care of.
Very Impressed all around!!. Where can you get great service and cheese dip for $1.49. I have become a new lover of Jose Peppers. Their service is always prompted and friendly, the food is great quality and presentation, and the prices are GREAT! $1.50 margaritas, $1.49 cheese dip (daily) and fun new specials all the time! Thank you Jose Peppers!
A wonderful to place to eat. We had a birthday party Sat. night. The manager came over to us and asked us if we would like the cake refrigerated as we ate and ordered. He was courteous and acted like we were the only patrons in his busy business. Steve, our server, anticipated our needs even before we knew what we needed. He was fabulous. The food was tasty and served at the right temperature. Can’t wait to get back there again.
EXCELLENT chips & salsa. Had dinner on a Sunday evening. Excellent service (sorry, don’t remember the young man’s name). I had fish tacos & mom had chicken & avocado enchiladas. The tacos were good, except the fish was a little strong tasting. Sampled mom’s enchiladas & they were good. But, the highlight was the service & the chips & salsa. I would return if ever in the area again.
