Food and service were outstanding! Fish was fresh and the rolls were huge!
Caterpillar roll was wonderful, spicy tuna not so spicy, unfortunately. Sushi chef was very accommodating. Waitress wasn’t rude, exactly, but her service was sub-par- didn’t come around much, didn’t ask if we wanted something else/ felt like she was doing us a favor. Probably won’t come back because the place up on Barry Road is exceptional. This is just OK.
Not good. We did not receive good service. I felt like sushi was not so fresh…
Sooo not good. The food was bland and undercooked and the service was very slow. The only reason we ate here twice was to burn off a groupon. I promise we won’t be back a third time.
Went on friday night during happy hour. Took 40 minutes before we decided we were going to take our business else where. There times we were told that the sushi was coming, never did
Great Service, good food. The food was very decent. Good sushi for the mid-west. The service was fantastic. I sat at the bar talking to the chef. She gave me some great advice on which fish was fresh and her favorites. In the end, I tried her choices and was very impressed. I recommend this place greatly!
Great sushi for the northland/price. I’m a northlander, but work in JoCo. In saying that, it many restaurants for my husband and I to agree on a sushi restaurant. Several are sub-par at best. For some reason, all sushi restaurant owners flock to JoCo. If you want GREAT sushi, head to JoCo. If you want good sushi that is not an arm and a leg, go here. I especially enjoy their all-you-can eat on Sunday – $25 pp, with the $1 fee for any uneaten piece. It is a lesser menu on Sunday for the AYCE, however it is fresh. The staff is nice, the sushi doesn’t take too long to get after you order. This is one of a few places I will actually eat sushi in the northland- much better than it’s closest rival – Kato which is over-prices and the seafood isn’t fresh.
