We have liked it before, but a plague of First World problems left a bad taste in our mouths. Nothing dire- margarita came frozen instead of rocks, slow kitchen had server apologizing 2-3 times that they hadn’t gotten our table side guacamole set up yet, then the avocados were not ripe enough, chips were not warm. Nachos were odd. For some reason the server asked if we wanted separate checks- really? We’ve been married close to 40 years. As I said, nothing bad, just blah.

Terrible Food – Even Worse Service. Never thought it was possible to make terrible Mexican food, but this place has figured out how… Cold, microwave gas station burrito is what comes to mind when I reflect on what was probably the worst dining experience Ive ever had. The waitress appeared uncomfortably pregnant and didnt want to be there. Drinks were left empty for extended periods of time, food came out cold and inedible. Of the four diners at our table not one finished the meal. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy.
The atmosphere was awesome. Tables have plenty of space between the others. A lot of variety for a Mexican resteraunt, I was truly impressed. The food service was slow but chips and salsa are included to keep things going. Our waiter was great. The sauce we started out with was too hot for my taste; he suggested a milder one and gladly brought it. Helpings were very large: a second meal for my fianc and me. The prices were extremely reasonable- $30 for two of us. They gave us a heaping bag of chips with a cup of salsa for our take home bag of leftovers that came in oven heat containers. When we are in the area we will definitely be stopping back by. By the way, the food was very flavorful! AMAZING!
Insanely SLOW. It was the lunch that would never end. Everything took a horribly long time to get done – get our drinks, place our orders, get the food, get the check, pay for the check. It was ridiculous. When the food did eventually arrive, it was evident it had been sitting in the window for quite some time because the plates were too hot to touch and the food had started to dry out from sitting under the heat lamp too long. I actually contemplated walking out as our waiter was no where to be found and I was SO sick of waiting…as were my 3 kids. Definintely will NEVER go back.
Very slow service! Even a lazy Tuesday lunch took at least 20-25 minutes to get our food after spending around 15 minutes waiting to order. Food is so-so. Just like Chilis; we won’t return.
Okay when u go here ask for the best waitress ever!! Shelly Hawkins. She will take great care of u and let her know Nikki and Rob sent u! The food has always been amazing every time we have been.
